Eurovac is strongest when the problem is distribution: many pickup points, repeatable operator behavior, and a centralized system that needs to serve a work area cleanly all day. Its central vacuum lineup includes smaller EII systems for one to four operators and larger EIII centrifugal systems for multi-bay environments. Eurovac also offers positive displacement options, so the brand should not be reduced to one technology.

In practice, we often consider Eurovac for automotive, collision repair, car wash/detail, commercial shop, and multi-station production environments where operators need convenient drops rather than one large cleanup event. The right Eurovac system can make vacuum access part of the daily workflow instead of a special cleanup project.

Good Eurovac candidates: shops with several work bays, frequent light-to-medium cleanup, predictable drop locations, and a central system layout where airflow distribution matters more than bulk material recovery.

Compliance: Do Not Buy the Brand, Buy the Correct Specification

Both brands can support safer housekeeping, but compliance is not automatic just because a well-known name is on the equipment. OSHA’s 1910.22 walking-working surface rule focuses on clean, orderly, hazard-free surfaces. OSHA’s 1910.1053 silica standard applies when respirable crystalline silica exposure is in scope. Combustible dust work may also require NFPA-driven analysis and equipment protection.

For DuroVac, do not assume every line has the same rating. LIFETIME portable units are an OSHA silica-focused, single-operator solution. DVR/DVP, PowerLift, Elevator, and central configurations are where NFPA-compliant applications usually enter the conversation. For Eurovac, the same discipline applies: the system has to be specified for the dust, electrical classification, filtration need, and pipe velocity.

Important: if the environment is ATEX-rated, Class II, Division 1/2, or otherwise explosion-risk classified, TVD may specify a dedicated explosion-proof line such as TigerVac rather than forcing DuroVac or Eurovac into a job they are not meant to cover.
